Last night a few friends and I went to the golf course and just layed down looking up at the night sky wondering and talking about what the hell is out there for us. Very cliche sounding, I know, but really. Think about it. Have you ever just sat there and wandered who you’ll be in 30 years? Who your friends will be, who you’re married to, where you’ll live, what you’re doing? When we’re younger we want to grow up so fast but i’m almost 18 now. I remember turning 13 and being all like “yeah i’m cool I’m a teenager now” then i hit 15 and i was all like ” mom, dad, i’m not a kid anymore, let me do what I want” and now i’m almost 18 and the realization is hitting me that time flies, i’m not as old as I think I am, and growing up scares the hell out of me. So to all you kids out there who think you’re so old, and wish to group up so fast. Stop. Enjoy your youth because that’s the one thing you will never get back. Don’t wish to grow up. Don’t act older than you really are, and when you’re 70 years old in a retirement home somewhere, don’t regret a damn thing.
